A heartfelt thank you, from my heart to yours.
This morning I paused over my coffee and did something I rarely do. I looked at the numbers. Across all the platforms where I share my writing, more than 10,000 of you have chosen to follow, read and walk beside me. I had to read that figure twice.
When I first began writing, I imagined a small circle of readers, perhaps a few friends, a few curious strangers. I never imagined that stories born at a desk in Bangalore, between the hum of traffic and the smell of filter coffee, would find their way into homes across the world. Yet here we are.
The reviews have left me both humbled and astonished. Readers from different countries, different cultures and different stages of life have taken the time to leave five-star ratings and write kind, thoughtful words about my books. Some have said a story reminded them of their own city. Others have said a chapter reminded them of their father, their old neighbourhood, or a monsoon evening they had almost forgotten. Every such message tells me that a story written in one small corner of the world can still belong to someone far away. That is the greatest reward a writer can receive.
My books travel through many kinds of stories: fiction and nonfiction, romance and crime, memoir and reflection, and the everyday lives of ordinary people who carry extraordinary feelings. My years in the legal profession taught me how much is hidden inside every human story, and I try to bring that attention to each page I write.
To every reader who bought a book, borrowed it, finished it, left a rating, wrote a review or simply shared it with a friend: thank you. You are the reason I keep writing. A review may take you only a minute, but it stays with a writer for years.
If you have not yet discovered my work, I would love for you to have a look around at your own pace. There is no hurry. Stories are patient, and there is always a place for another reader here.
